RE Invest Solutions is pleased to announce the acquisition of the former Carlisle Tire & Wheel property located in Carlisle PA. The 10+/- acre site, comprised of 10-separate parcels, has a long history of industrial manufacturing dating back to the early 1900's. Operations over time on the property have included paper, garment and textile manufacturing facilities but the site is widely recognized for its large scale specialty tire manufacturing plant. The tire manufacturing plant grew considerably over the past half century until the operations were moved to another location and the plant shut down in 2010. RE Invest intends to decommission the main factory structure and planning is underway to determine the highest and best use for the property that will serve the needs of the surrounding community.

"Because of its size and central location within the town, the redevelopment of the Tire & Wheel property presents a unique opportunity to transform the area from its industrial roots into a sustainable mixed-use development that will create new jobs and bring economic benefits to the community. We are pleased to be a part of this exciting project and look forward to working with the Borough of Carlisle and the Cumberland County Redevelopment Authority to revitalize the area." stated Thomas Lobasso, Principal, RE Invest Solutions, LLC.

RE Invest Solutions formed a partnership with a recognized construction/development team to redevelop an inactive hazardous waste site in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The 4.5 acre property was a former aluminum foundry once used by the Wright Brothers in the early 1900s to manufacture aircraft engines, which was later used by others for chemical warehousing from the early 1960s to the late 1990s. The RE Invest team plans to redevelop the property for construction of a 4-story medical arts building. RE Invest provided oversight of the demolition of the former foundry building and has begun a program to address soil contaminated by historical seepage of fuel oil from bulk capacity underground storage tanks. RE Invest is working closely with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to obtain a No Further Action (NFA) declaration so that construction can proceed and a Certificate of Occupancy will be issued when the building project is completed.

"The RE Invest redevelopment project will help to revitalize an economically and environmentally distressed area of the City of New Brunswick while providing growth opportunities for the City's vibrant health care and business community." stated Thomas Lobasso, Managing Director of RE Invest Solutions.
